We still use our same billet helixes as we did on the first direct drive models.In order to use the billet helix on these models it is necessary to use a helix cap from a ’04 – ’05 Arctic model with the ACT secondary Available Angles- Dalton ACT Progressive New "C" type for ACT driven with electronic reverse system. Some 09' and newer Arctic 2 stroke models have the electronic reverse system and require a notch in the ramp for the reverse. These are still the earlier style adjustable "C" helix models that require a DHC- 100 cover kit,or a 05' type Arctic adjustable cover and hardware to use on the newer sleds that came with a cast one peice helix. All mod- els with the notch for electronic reverse system are designated "CR" followed by the angle. If it is a progressive type cut it would be designated by the suffix "P" after the part number. If you have a 2006-2011 you need one of the covers to use this helix. Dalton helixes with “C” designation are for all 2005-2008 ACT models, and for 09 and newer 4 stroke models or shut l r verse button models. (all 06 and newer require cover to use this helix, see notes). This model is NOT for 2009+ two stroke models that have the engine run backwards.
